Wild Pear Tree 40cm 15 Pack: A UK favourite, Pyrus Communis is an attractive columnar tree with plenty of white flowers blooming in early Spring. The oval, pointed leaves has toothed edges and long stalks, these are light green in Spring before turning golden in Autumn. You can expect to see your fruit form in summer with them being ripe in Autumn. Pear trees are of great value to wildlife, local birds will love the fruit which is produced. The flowers are extremely popular with bees and the foliage provides a lovely habitat for caterpillars to live and provide them with shelter to help with their transition into butterflies. Please Note: This tree will be 20-40cm in height and depending on the time of year they could arrive bare or with browning leaves. Do not be alarmed, this is expected and normal, the tree will perk back up once the weather is warmer.
