Made from lightweight, easy-to-handle corrugated roofing tiles that channel rainwater effectively down the slope of the roof and away from the building, improving the durability of the building roof. This is a complete kit of parts consisting of roof tiles, ridge tiles, timber battens, fixing screws and screw caps. Tiles are made from water-repellent bitumen, and the maximum tile weight is 2kg so can easily be positioned and maneuvered by hand. These tiles overlap both lengthways and widthway to provide a consistent weatherproof seal. Guttering can be used but is not required with these roofing kits. Each kit is supplied with the correct number of tiles and fittings for the size of the selected building. With these kits, maintenance is very minimal, simply brush loose debris away periodically. For these roofing kits to be effective, the pitch of the roof, whether apex or pent, to which it is installed must be 10 degrees or greater, to prevent water incursion. As long as the angle of the roof is over 10 degrees, however, the tiles can accommodate a wide range of roof angles due to their flexibility.
