Crab Apple Tree 40cm 15 Pack: The crab apple is a native tree that is an ancestor of cultivated apples. A relatively small-growing tree, it will often grow into a distinctive gnarled shape. Malus Sylvestris is one of the few trees that can host mistletoe and lichern. They bear attractive white blossom in spring, followed by the fruit which is great for producing jams and jellies. They also attract and support many forms of wildlife. Crap apple has the capability to live up to 100 years and grow to around 10 metres in height. Please Note: This tree will be 20-40cm in height and depending on the time of year they could arrive bare or with browning leaves. Do not be alarmed, this is expected and normal, the tree will perk back up once the weather is warmer. As long as provided with the right care and attention, this sapling can be planted all year round.
