Osmanthus Burkwoodii Readybag Hedge: Originating from China and Western Asia, this is a slow growing plant, that over lots of years with care and maintenance, it will grow just over 2 metres in tall. With the intensity of the green in the leaves and the flowers and the size and density of foliage, this is the perfect way to gather your guests and allow them to admire the beauty of your garden. There is no need to visit a flower garden or an old estate house to see beautiful hedges and flowers, you can enjoy it from the comfort of your own back garden, with the hedging that if left untrimmed will produce a mass of white, highly fragrant flowers in April and May, but if you keep up with the regular trimming, the flowers will not be as common. With the soils, this is more than convenient for yourself as it is suitable for planting in heavy clay soil, medium loam soil and light sandy soil, including both acid and alkaline soil too – spoilt for choice it appears!
